10:14 a.m. - Friday, Apr. 16, 2004 A prefect day to have the windows open and that is exactly what I have done. L is supposed to take me out for dinner tonight and we're supposed to go gorcery shopping today...I'll wake him up in an hour or so. I just talked to Mom and Jesse is still doing really well. She is starting to crawl...kind of. She goes backward instead of forward. She's a smart baby, though, she'll figure it out. My grandma was in the hospital while I was home (my dad's mom), Jeff, Mom, Jesse and I went to visit her. We were carrying Jesse in her car seat and had her sitting on the bed. One of Jesse's shoes started to come off and when I went to fix it, Jesse shook her head and made a sound that sounded like "hmm-mm" (as if she was saying no). Jesse...well, I guess maybe babies in general, facinate me. Since I had Jesse, I sometimes look at her and think how amazing it is that she is this little entity, little life, she doesn't yet know how she got here, but she seems to have the time of her life and certainly brightens any room she goes into. That probably sounds really stupid, but I don't care. I miss her. I always do when she's gone but sometimes I need a break. Well, anyway, I better go. I bought some 45 gallon trashbags lastnight so I can get the trash out of the livingroom and then rearrange it which is kind of the point of Jesse being away. I'll do a few small things today and then the real stuff comes tomorrow.
